When you purchase or register:

• Full name, email address, company name
• Billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details)
• Job role or title (optional)

When you complete an assessment:

• Your responses to assessment questions
• Your company's technology maturity data as you report it
• Generated maturity score and report content

Automatically collected:

• IP address, browser type, device type
• Pages visited, time on site, referral source (via Google Analytics)
• Cookies (see Section 8)

• To deliver the assessment service and generate your AI-powered report
• To process payments securely via Stripe
• To send your assessment report and related communications by email
• To improve our platform, fix bugs, and develop new assessment types
• To communicate updates, new features, or relevant offers (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the assessment service you purchased
• Legitimate interests — improving the platform, communicating relevant updates
• Consent — marketing emails (where explicitly opted in), non-essential cookies
• Legal obligation — retaining transaction records as required by law

We share your data only with the following categories of trusted service providers, solely to operate our platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic / Claude API — AI report generation (assessment responses are sent to generate your report)
• Microsoft Azure — cloud infrastructure and database hosting
• ZeptoMail / Zoho Campaigns — transactional and marketing email delivery
• Zoho CRM — partner lead management
• Google Analytics — anonymised website analytics

All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

• Assessment data and reports: retained for the duration of your account, plus 2 years after account closure
• Transaction records: retained for 7 years (legal and tax requirements)
• Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Analytics data: aggregated and anonymised after 26 months (Google Analytics default)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
• Deletion — request that your data be deleted (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — for any processing based on consent, at any time

We use the following categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary — required for the platform to function (login sessions, security). Cannot be disabled.

Our platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Depending on your location, your data may be processed in India or the UAE. We ensure any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws through appropriate safeguards.

TACGauge is a business-to-business platform intended for professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
